have you ever had an incredible idea? Maybe you’ve suddenly felt so motivated to start a new venture, a blog perhaps? The scenario is far too common, we, as human beings, tend to instinctively dismiss ourselves, whether it be by saying “I don’t have time!” or “I need better equipment!”, or even just “I can’t do that…”
If you’ve ever found yourself or anyone close to you in that situation, saying those things, you need to break out of that habit. Here’s a secret successful people know, that unsuccessful people don’t: you just have to do it. Like incredibly successful salesman and real estate investor Grant Cardone said in his incredible book, The 10X Rule, in order to be successful, one has to first commit, and then figure it out later.
Initially, that sounds like it goes against everything we’ve been taught, the norm is to figure everything out, plan everything intricately, and quintuple check everything before even starting. The issue with the latter method, you just never get started. So, dear reader, I urge you to consciously make an effort to get rid of the very damaging habit of dismissing and even belittling your own abilities before even trying.
