1. Sleep and Wake Up Early

This one’s a given, and yet so many people don’t get enough sleep, healthy adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each and every night. One trend successful people almost unanimously have in common is that their mornings are productive, and you can’t have productive mornings sleeping in. This applies even on weekends, success doesn’t take a break.

2. Write Down Your Goals

Many successful people keep a list of their goals handy, they also tend to write them down often. It serves a reminder as to why they’re working so hard, their ultimate purpose. Grant Cardone, for instance, writes down his goals every day, upon waking up and right before going to bed. Of course, their goals may change, and that’s alright, what’s important is to have a target.

3. Surround Yourself with More Successful People

Yet another almost unanimous trait among the successful is their conscious effort to surround themselves with people smarter and more successful than themselves. As the saying goes, you are the average of the five closest people to you.

4. Never Stop Learning

Finally, the last common trait among the successful is their ability to keep learning. Not only do the successful work when others relax, they learn when others repeat. One of the biggest, most important notions to acknowledge about being successful is that there is always, ALWAYS, more to learn , and more to earn.
